I am available to lead nature walks tailored to your interests or needs of a group.  Whether you just want to know what's growing in the wild near your house or get out to a local park, I'll work with you to pick a location and a theme that meets your interest.

In addition to a general exploration of the natural world, my walks can also have a special focus, including:

  • Wild edible plants (including preparation and samples)
  • Mushroom identification 101 (tasting samples if lucky)
  • Seasonal wildflowers
  • Tree/Shrub identification

I've been leading walks every year for the past 5 years at the Mid-Atlantic Primitive Skills Meet and have worked with the Audobon Naturalist Society. In addition, I have several years teaching experience, mostly with high school aged students.
